A warm seat at the Santa Claus Parade for kids who can’t be outside
Everybody loves the Santa Claus Parade, but not every child is well enough to watch it outside. Christmas in the Pedway is our most heart-warming outreach activity and a big part of who we are as a club. We bus in kids from both of the city’s paediatric units so they don’t miss out on this holiday tradition.

Community and holiday spirit
Each year the club provides transportation, food, presents and entertainment for young patients and their families from Greater Moncton’s two hospital paediatric wards, and hosts them at the City Hall Pedway.
From there they watch the parade in safety and warmth, with the best view in town. Food, presents and even a few celebrity guests round out the night. For these families it’s a fun, festive break from their worries, if only for a few hours.
